LIVE: First results from US Presidential Election

- The big states which have been called so far have been New York,Illinois, New Jersey for Clinton; and Texas, Indiana and Tennessee for Trump

- It’s not clear how any of the so-called swing states will fall. Florida, which could decide the contest, in particular is too close to call

Clinton has 104 electorial college votes against 129 for Trump. The candidates need 270 to win the White House.

- US networks are predicting that the Republicans will retain control of the House of Representatives

- In case you missed it: Trump seemed to have concerns about his wife’s vote : An impressive cake was delivered to Trump Tower

'Good' to see it's not only the voting public of the UK who are idiots.

ROFLMAO.  Ahhh, the shrill whine of losers.  Simple humiliated silence WOULD BE more dignified, even if completely out of the question for Clinton and her Ignorables...

Hey wingnuts!   'Not too bad for a "dead party", eh?  (Hillary just conceded, and the House & Senate will both continue under Republican control as well.  So you can all start the obligatory gnashing of teeth, grousing & moaning about rigged polls and vote fixing now...  Blah blah blah.)

Oh, the avalanche of "executive orders" we're going to see out of the WH now...   Trump is going to need a special secretary just to keep track of them all so they can be promptly cancelled on 21 JAN.

China Media Calls Race for DONALD TRUMP Before Dishonest US #Pravda Media

MSM have for many hours now been clear that Donald Trump had been winning the election, was winning the election, has won, and will definitely be the winner when all the states have (informally) completed their counting of the votes.

So, after Prez Trump locks her up, we can figure we'll see the MSM will get Trump's day in court too, for sure. Old Sparky down there in the dungeon is going to be running up the electric bill. Enhanced interrogation will produce the desired results.

Given the most extreme elements of the body politic have long had a long list of soreheaded scores to settle, after so many decades, one can assume the Right Sector will be happy in their work.

An important measure of a Prez Trump is whether he can -- or cares to -- control or modify the extreme absence of judgement or sense that too many of the fringe and intemperate elements have, the delerious bunch that attached themselves to him in the electrically charged campaign of the past year and a half.

Wait till December 4 th in Italy and more EU countries to vote next year. The tsunami of voter rejection will continue. The unhappiness in the rust belt really decided Hillarys fate and she did little to address it. She kept beating O'bama's drum to a deaf electorate.

I love when the people vote in favor of a personn but as a true democracy only the vote of electoral college count! Damn it feels good to have Donald. good bye Hillary

Neither Clinton nor Trump won a majority of the popular votes that were cast thanks to third parties.   Clinton did get a few more popular votes than Trump, but the margin is dwarfed by the votes that went mainly to Libertarians and Green Party (and the vast majority of those to the former, which had two former Republican governors on its ticket...).

The world is in shock , lets hope they keep Trump locked inside the oval room and chain him . Someone else will run the show , lots of good republicans that can do it,
