BANGKOK: -- After too long of a wait, the UK's favorite beauty brand Lush will finally bring their colorful bath bombs and luxury handmade soaps and cosmetics to Bangkok next month.

The brand will open Thailand's first store at Siam Center in December, according to the brand’s Facebook page which launched yesterday and already has over 1,000 likes. The opening date has not yet been announced.

Lush is best known for its high-end, aromatic bath bombs and bar soaps, which they cut up for you right in the store and wrap in brown butcher’s paper, but their product range spans from shower gel to conditioner, natural scrubs, lotion, makeup, perfumes and more.

High end which will be even more astronomically priced in Thailand I can imagine.

Lived in the UK for 55 years, worked in retail, never heard of the company

Nothing special...., but I suppose the Thais will like it as its European...

This is just what Thailand needs to drive its economy....

From another thread:  "Meanwhile Thai Shopping Centres Association (TSCA) President Ms Walaya Jirathiwat said that between 2016-2017 members of the association have planned to invest around 70 billion baht into the sector. "

They have to keep some space for the extra Louis Vuitton shops

No bathtub would be complete without a Lush in it.....

Never heard of them.

I am familiar with the brand. I did wonder why they weren't represented here, but after looking at their shops I realised that a large proportion of what they sell are bath bombs and bars of soap.

What proportion of properties in Bangkok have a bath?

Also, the usage of bar soap is on the decline.

I cannot believe you worked in retail for 55 years and did not know the brand, they are a well known high street presence in the UK. I despise shopping and go to any length to avoid it, but i know the brand well and would recognise their logo and products immediately.

Perhaps its because i had sisters i saw their products around more, perhaps an age thing to.

That will be the other half christmas present sorted this year anyway.

They were suppliers to the Body Shop. I think the Body Shop used to own the rights to their recipes and formulas.

Maybe they got those back when the Body Shop sold out.

I must admit that there is one thing I miss is a nice soak in a bath and when I get the chance to go a nice hotel here, if there is a bath as  an option, I choose it. however, I will not be paying that much for a bath. I would rather do a 'gypsy's wash' or this. Hope it passes the censors and if not my apologies.
