Has anyone tried using a US or UK bought Amazon Echo here in Thailand ?

I've been using Alexa on U.S.-purchased Fire TV box and stick here, if that helps.

I have just started using mine in Thailand was told spotify wouldnt work, but everything seems ok.

They work fine if you use some stateside location in the set-up for time.  All you have to do is know the difference in the time zones if asking the time or setting up an alarm.  Other than the time issue all other functions operate great.  Have mine set-up to turn my TV and Audio amp on by voice control.  Can even change channel and Audio levels with Alexa commands.  Been  using mine for about 6 months now.......Great stuff........

Thanks for the replies. Am think about getting one, when at home (UK) for Christmas and bringing it over. Just wanted to make sure they worked when outside of their "home country" and by the sound of it, they do. Once again, many thanks.
