Cold Pressed Avocado Oil

Featured Replies

Anyone know where to get  this in Bangkok/ Thailand.. need larger quantities for cooking etc.. have only seen it in 50ml bottles more for skin care.. needs to be edible grade.

Thanks in advance

You might try Chiang Rai area. The avocados there are grown locally and are very inexpensive (60 baht per kilo) as opposed to the 99 baht per tiny  New Zealand variety in BKK. My guess is that someone there is processing the oil for profit.

It's delicious, very non descript, but smooth. I just made some mayo with it

Tops and Villa Market have it but it is imported and is very expensive.

Don't know how you would get on trying to make it yourself?? Visited a start-up company in NZ making it up north there and they had to import and re-design some olive oil pressing equipment from Italy, to get what they wanted.

Was going to invest in that start-up and didn't...……...silly bugger!
