Pattaya Car Stereo Shops

Can anyone advise the location of some quality car stereo/video shops in the Pattaya area?

I am looking for qualified professionals, not vinyl rippers and interior butchers. :o

Boy Sound & Air - Sukhumvit Road - heading towards Bangkok, past Pattaya Nua, past Na Klua, a couple of U-turns before the Rayong turn off on the opposite side of the road. Large sign in English, high up on the building.

They are usually very busy, but do a good job.

The Mobi-mobile stereo, TV and video system could power up a small concert :o

The cartoons keep the kids quiet for hours on long journeys. :D

Thanks Mobi, I will check it out. :o

So that was you rattling my fillings at the traffic light :D

How is the TV reception when Mobi(le)?

It probably wasn't me if the wife was on board - but when alone, I revert to my second childhood and do yet more damage to my already damaged hearing :D

TV reception in Pattaya proper isn't too bad - it comes and goes as you drive around . Out here in Mabprachan it's non- existent.

Funny thing is, out in Sakaeo, where the wife comes from, the reception is incredibly good, in town and even in Mrs Mobi's village. I don't use it much, usually play cartoons for the kids or live music concerts - Queen and the like :o Great fun. :D

About ten minutes drive from Sa Kaeo town towards Kow Chackan, you take a right, over bridge, past a school, take a right, past a Wat (Kow Neo I think) and you hit the village of NongKla. Altogether 20 mins from downtown Sa Kaeo.

Perfect TV reception - the best I've known anywhere :D

Seem to be a lot of Sa Kaeo ladies in these 'ere parts.

Famous for their beauty? :o

I'm trying to hook a playstation to my roof mounted TV, don't want wires running everywhere though. Should keep the kids quiet 10 minutes longer.

I'm not into play stations, but you might want to try an AV transmitter - it will transmit sound and tv/video signals around fifty meters or more. I use one across my pool, and it works fine - no wires. :o

Thanks for the tip. How's the 'Tuner running by the way?

I have to say it's one of the most fun vehicles I've ever had. Absolutely great for Thailand. Given me a new lease of driving life - I just love thundering around in it :o Acceleration incredible, considering its size - purrs along at 160 clicks.

A friend of mine followed me the other day in his multi milloin Baht imported Range rover, and struggled to keep up when I put my foot down to overtake some local traffic.
