Recommendations to avoid high costs please.....

My wife needs glasses. She spends a lot of time looking at a computer screen for work, and is now squinting.

Years ago I remember someone recommended a good optometrist in Phuket town.

Would appreciate input on an Optometrist as well as a reliable optician to fill the prescription.

Not sure it's still open as the Optometrist owner was  quite ill a few years ago.   Called the Eye Clinic just past the clock tower on the road to Immigration, left side just about 5 shops past the roundabout.

 

I used this guy for many years and only changed to the Phuket Bangkok eye clinic as they have all the latest high tech detailed eye checking - retina scans and the like. But Bangkok Phuket is very expensive ...
