Snorkelling in Prachup Khirkhan

Featured Replies

Yes I know its a way south of Hua Hin but it is in the province so I hope I am asking in the right place.

Booked a few down there and wondered if anyone know if there is any snorkelling in that area?

Any help or pointers would be helpful, thanks.

I live in Bang Saphan Yai, about 60 km south of PKK.

Most of the shore around here is too shallow for snorkeling.  Koh Talu, an island off us has crystal clear water and some fish life (no real reefs) and is nice.  Tours go out daily.  We use Suchart for fishing and diving.  Seas are heavy now so they may not go out, best to call before coming down!  http://www.bangsaphanguide.com/attractions/

Thanks for that, might just have to stick to a swim then!

Snorkeling possible, but not much to see...

All that gulf coast is pretty poor vs Andaman sea area. Kanhom was better but still poor. As another poster said, probably have to go island hopping on a trip. I think more and more of thailand is now getting to that point.
