extension on my tourist visa i have thai born son 30 days or 60 ?

Featured Replies

Can i extend my tourist visa for 60 days on a (family visa extension?) i am aware of the 30 day for tourists but if i have a son here registered etc does that give me a different option.

cheers

You can apply for a 60 day extension to visit you son.

Your son will need to be with you when you apply. You will need there birth certificate showing you as their father plus a copy and a copy of their house book registry.

You will need proof of residence unless living where their house book is for.

You cannot be listed in the house book. You just need a copy of your sons registry in it to prove he is registered.

If your son is registered in your girl friends parents house book that will serve as proof of your residence.

you can extend with 30 days AND after that extend with the 60 days

Some offices will do that but not all of them.
