Phetchabun opens “Flower Mountain in the Mist Festival" at Khao Kho

 

PHETCHABUN, 26 December 2016 (NNT) - Phetchabun province has kicked off its “Flower Mountain in the Mist Festival" at Khao Kho, with many resorts attracting tourists by featuring flowers of the winter season. 

Phetchabun governor Phiboon Hatthakitkosol presided over the opening of “Flower Mountain in the Mist Festival" at Khao Kho viewpoint, Khao Kho district, Phetchabun province, a popular tourist destination where people come to experience the cold weather from October to early February. 

Statistics show that tourists visiting Khao Kho have increased with a record of 1.92 million tourists in 2015. Another phenomenon that will attract tourists to Khao Kho district is the spectacular view of the mist sea, observable only during the early hours from mountaintops.

Bodies of three escapees from police arrest retrieved from klong
