Flood in Hatyai

Featured Replies

Hi there, going to Hatyai early next week for holiday, hotel and airfare fully paid....any information is appreciated whether Hatyai city area is flooded...thanks

No, Hat Yai is OK, no flooding in the city. A little localised flooding to the south-east along Kanjanavanit Road south of Central Festival but nothing major. If you're flying in you're fine.

You can check the city status on the website and view the CCTV feeds from the river and relief canals.

But remember an umbrella, the NE Monsoon looks like it will extend well into January this year.

No sorry, no more information than is in the neswpapers or on TV;  the road is flooded at Phatthalung and again around Thung Song. Whether you can get through I've no idea.
