Oh, something new... it's raining ! Why protecting cables in one of the wettest areas... ?

My 3bb was down for a long time last night- still sluggish now.

Errrr- from the article it appears the cables actually snapped when a bridge was washed out, not water getting into the cables- any chance for a dig from some though.

What time ? I never noticed any problem with our 3BB.

My internet was down from about 4:30 yesterday afternoon. The football match I wanted to watch at 3:00 this morning was missed due to no connection, but all good at 8:00 this morning.

ToT hit the jackpot.

Seems only their cable(s) ran along the collapsed bridges.

Other providers might have taken another route (just speculating).

The short summary also implies it was a "southern" problem.

No it was a nationwide for almost all international connections of ToT.

Connections to the south will likely connect down to Singapore, THE internet hub for South East Asia.
