January 13, 20179 yr I'm looking at relocating to CM and I qualify for the so-called "retirement" visa, the O-A, but I have a couple of questions I haven't seen answered elsewhere. I realise I would have to report every 90 days, but is it 90 days from first date of entry to Thailand, or 90 days from the most recent date of entry? Two examples to illustrate the question: 1: I enter January 1, so if I remain in Thailand I have to report on March 31. 2: I enter January 1, leave on January 31, return on February 28. So do I report on March 31 or May 29? My understanding is that when reporting I have to give my CM address. But what happens if I move elsewhere in Thailand? Must I then register my new address and would I have to it at a different office? I'm assuming that such a move would not affect the validity of my visa, only the reporting process. Thanks in advance for any advice.
January 13, 20179 yr Re-entering Thailand starts the clock again Wherever you live, it has to be reported to the local immigration office
January 13, 20179 yr The above post says it basically. Your counting is slightly off. 23 minutes ago, PhotoJeremy said: 2: I enter January 1, leave on January 31, return on February 28. So do I report on March 31 or May 29? Date of entry is day 1, report is due on day 90 (89 days after entry). Enter on Feb 28. Add 89 days results in May 27. You might know that there is a grace period for report in person of 15 days before and 7 days after due date (again incl. due date in the count). TM30 But in recent times immigration stands tough on the obligation to register your address after each entry? The registration has to be done by the house/condo owner (fill and sign TM30 form). Maybe the experts in this subforum can comment more on that. Relocating always requires a registration at the office that is responsible.

January 13, 20179 yr And my calculation was also wrong because I accidentally selected 2016 (a leap year) 28 FEB 2017 plus 89 days = 28 MAY 2017.
