I asked a number of my Pattaya friends whether the rumored rise in a single ride on a Song Taew from 10 to 20 baht would go into effect on January 1,2017. I just spoke with another friend who says it's nonsense. She's been paying 10 baht since she returned to Pattaya shortly after New Years.The price is still 10 baht(depending on how far the ride is, just as in the past. I just need to know the facts.

The price is still 10B. Technically this now includes longer distances. The bahtbuses all seem to have a banner above the front windscreen that supposedly indicates their route.
