Short Term Rental

Featured Replies

Looking for a apartment condo for a 6 week rental period within Bkk whilst I am having treatment @ Bumrungrad, is it possible to rent out anywhere for this length of time and are there any companies that offer this.

Bumrungrad does have some appartment type places on site. I don't know the cost. alternatively you could try serviced appartments. There are many to choose from................

Any hotel will gladly quote competitive (to serviced apartments) rates for a 6 week stay. What is your budget? Do you need to be close to Bumrungrad for follow-up?

Bumrungrad's hotel information.

There are serviced apartments neraby, like the OMNI on Soi 4, Saranjai Mansion on Soi 6, and probably a few on Soi 3? Also there are quite a few serviced apartments on Wireless Road, like Centrepoint.

You could Google "serviced apartments" and "Bangkok", and then maybe get a short-list and then ask about those specific properties?

Saranjai and others mentioned will almost certainly NOT rent for short term.

As you are aware, most want 4 or 6 months minimum.

Boss Tower on Rama 4 Road will definitely rent out - see www.bosstower.com

Centrepoints should, but can be expensive.

House by the pond may www.housebythepond.com

Union Tower on New Petchaburi Road will, but it's not top notch accomodation no website but 02 369 1486

Star Suites may be of use on Suk Soi 15 - 081 689 9598

Good luck.

Both OMNI and Saranjai will rent by the day, week, month and year, at least that's what they told me when I visited both properties last week. I was looking for a friend who will be at Bumrungrad early next year. A colleague just completed a one month stay at the President Solitaire on Soi 11, which connects to Soi 3 near Bumrunrgad. He negotiated a flat fee of 50,000 baht (all in, incl VAT and daily breakfast, WiFi, etc.). It was a suite and was quite nice. Maybe a 10 min. walk to Bumrungrad.

Easy to do - what to go for depends on your budget and where you want to be. You could stay at say boss tower on Rama 4 for about THB15,000 for a reasonable studio serviced apartment per month (approx 30,000 for a 2 bed apartment with cleaning, cable TV, etc included). the rent by the day if you want. If you want more up-market there are places like Natural ville on soi lang suan which have very pleasant rooms for executive types - do a google on both for details.
