Can anyone give me a good landmark to tell me where I should get off the main road to find the area more easily. KM marker or distinctive building etc. Long time since I've been there and really can't picture it anymore.

if you are coming from Pattaya you take the Bang na trad highway, come off the highway to the frontage road when you see the signs for highway 3256, you will see the 'market village' on your left, I think there is a hospital on the corner of the turning for 3265,

 

take the 3256 south, it is a dual carriageway, I think once you get on it you take  the second u turn then get over to the left.

 

once you have taken that u turn and are going north on 3256 I  cannot remember a landmark but turning comes up pretty quickly.

 

I normally put the location in my smartphone and follow google maps to get the final turning, if you don't have a smartphone looking on google street view might help, the location is here:

Hi, I popped in there last Friday, it is actually the first U-turn when you get on to route 3256, (not the second, I must have remembered slightly it wrong) and once you make that U-turn get over to the left hand lane immediately, and you will see a fairly big building with chinese writing on it, the soi to lead into car spares village is a few metres after the entrance to the parking lot of that building.
