Have read that you will in the future have to go to a driving school to obtain a certificate to get a Thai driving license.Has anyone seen one of these, is there one near Huahin 

There are a few. The one my wife used is on the Chomsin Road (west side) after crazy railway crossing, straight up the road to toward Hin Lek Fai hill and on the right side somewhere before the temple. She passed practical test second time and got 100% in the theory test and had never driven before prior to the lessons (can't remember how many she had, maybe 20).
