Phuket Immigration Website

Last week the Phuket Immigration website had a large notice stating that the 90 day reporting and guest registration sections were under construction.

 

Today the same URL is providing the following notice:

 

 

This account has been suspended.
Either the domain has been overused, or the reseller ran out of resources.

 

With the main Immigration extranet also out of service, how are hotels and guesthouses reporting guests? Visiting and queuing at the Immigration Office every day? Fax? Carrier pigeon?

 

Can we expect a super, user-friendly website when everything returns to normality?

 

 

 

 

 

 

One would think they'd develop the new website before taking down the old one... 

Maybe we cant start a competition the same system at Chiang Mai crashed December 7th last year we are still waiting. Meanwhile many fines are being awarded to angry Housemasters.

As far as I remember, they hurried to close the website to avoid hackers who said they would hack all official sites (what they did for some of them)...

Lets hope they just give up on the whole stupid idea.
