Bluetooth USB Adaptor for LG Smart TV

Featured Replies

Can any member on the forum help me with technical problem please.

I have an LG Smart TV which does not have an internal bluetooth device.  I want to connect bluetooth wireless headphones and bluetooth wireless speakers. Now, I believe I require a Bluetooth USB Adaptor. I live in Pattaya and a Big C staff member on Sukhumvit Road recommended me to go to Tuk Com. Off I go, quite optimistic.  I looked in  nearly every store on every floor without success.

Can any one tell me where I can get this device from...or tell me, are there any other devices that will do the same job and if so, where can I get it from please?  If you believe I can get it in Tuk Com, can you tell me which stall please.

Thanking you all in advance.

I just connected a Bluetooth (Jabbra) headset to my Samsung smart-TV. It had a internal selection under the sound options in the TVs menu, works very well. Check if your LG might be same (I think very likely). If need to get USB plugin version they are readily available at Banana and other computer shops, cost about 250 baht.

Not all TVs have it and it is wrong to believe that you can use any adapter.

They (on purpose) use a specific configuration that I am not sure that you can setup on any cheap USB bluetooth.

The original costs $40, pure robbery !

Has anybody managed to use a generic adapter or find the original in Thailand ?

Thank you.

There is an LG service centre in Pattaya (Google). They sell various accessories so maybe have what you are looking for.

ok here near Nakhon chai air.

I bought this BlueTooth transmitter through Lazada.  Works well with input from the TVs optical audio output but I found it better to splice into the speaker wires going to a home theater box because that link allowed volume control  where the optical port did not.

The first map you posted was correct, on the left of Sukhumvit going north. There is a little alley just past the shop where you can park.
