BANGKOK — Two Thai buildings — one in the capital and another in Isaan – have been voted the best of more than 3,000 architectural projects from around the world on Tuesday.

Yes congratulations to the architects.

But I find it odd (or just terrible reporting) that the names of the architects behind the winning structures are not even named!

The only names mentioned are two Thai architects who DIDN'T win.

I am glad they did not award anything to that monstrous, toothed, gapped, eye-sore of a building going up near Silom Sathorm.

The Mahanakon building, the tallest and most offensive looking building in Thailand.

But my friends from the UK liked it!

Went to the publication. Very nice pictures of both places. Quite impressive but not sure

how well aspenite chipboard will hold up exposed in a commercial application.

Congratulations to both the architects and the builders.
