New Immigration office Samui

Featured Replies

Hi, can someone tell me how far the office is from Maenan port please. Is it walkable or are there motorcycle taxis at the port? Thanks

Moved to here on the Samui forum for quicker and better answers.

Do you mean the lompraya pier?
Immigration is other side of Maenam, soi 1.

Sent from my Lenovo TB3-710F using Thaivisa Connect mobile app

You mean Lomprayah Pier in Maenam,? AKA Laem Na Phra Lan or Pralan Pier.

It would be about 4 kms to the east to get to Soi 1  Maenam.... Ferry arrives around 11.30 am

But getting back involves a ferry from Nathon to KP as no boats in afternoon to KP from  Pralan, Maenam on Lomprayah ..which is a bit of a pain

Motor bike taxi's and regular taxi available.

(I had to correct PS's spelling as he always corrects mine!)

Thanks for your replies, academic in the end as bad weather meant that the Lomprayah couldn't dock in Maenam.

Can anyone help me out at all, has this new immigration office replaced the old one near nathon pier, or is the old one still up and running? I'm looking to extend my visa as my 30 days are nearing an end

Yes, Samui Immigration has moved to Maenam soi 1 (see map in post #5 above).
