PHUKET: -- A serial seafood thief was arrested last night in Phuket Town, claiming that he had to steal to pay everyday expenses.

The suspect’s latest seafood heist, from Baan Kalim, a seafood restaurant in Patong, yielded 15 lobsters, tiger prawns, fish, crabs, shellfish and numerous other items.

“We have been following this case since February 27. The owner of the restaurant had filed a complaint at Patong Police Station,” said Lt Col Prawit Engchuan of Region 8 Police. “We checked CCTV footage and managed to identify the suspect as Kanchana Maneemai.

They tried to interrogate him, but he clammed up. So cops put him in over crowded cell, and he became very Krabi.... the other prisoners were musseling in on his territory... ok enough. Quits!

Looks like he stole them from freezers, then sold them at the local "fresh seafood market".......add false advertising to his charge sheet........:biggrin:

He's pointing at the bike.... it was the bikes fault!
