Just bought a new D-Tracker

Featured Replies

Hey, just bought a new D-Tracker in Bangkok.  I changed the green plastic parts for black and will soon cover it in a black and gold sticker wrap.  I'm looking to do some more mods and was wondering if anyone knows of a good shop to modify motorcycles or D-Tracker/KLX in particular?  I want to get:

1. sliders on the side (bumpers that stick out to prevent your bike getting too scratched if it falls over)

2. DE-restricted so it goes the full speed and power a 250 should

3. a large sprocket in the back

4. a new exhaust

5. possibly new tires

Thanks for any info!

Well full speed and power are all relative with a Kawa 250 thumper

See attached for a manual how to do it ( copied and pasted from another site) I followed that manual years ago on my 2011 KLX and it worked perfect and never had a problem with it.

Don't expect a miracle as it just enables the engine to rev to the red line in all gears.
