I resent this sub forum being described as an Aussie only forum! And I especially take exception to being compared to Donz and Mad Terry!@!

I'm a perfectly sane and considered poster on Thai visa and think you shouldn't lump every one from my country into the same groups as these nutcases!

as far as the big ego's go, some have and some hav'nt, myself having a middle of the road ego as one must believe in himself right?

I went to a birthday party at a certain a-go-go last (March ?). Ran into a buddy I'd worked with in Kabul the year before. He was about half-way through his first beer of the evening when I ordered my first whiskey.

A little later, he finshed his second beer and ordered a third, commenting that he'd better slow down. I had to laugh, as in the time it took him to drink 1 1/2 beers, I had polished off 5 whiskeys and was ordering my 6th.

(just to stay on topic, there is a "I drink TOO much" sub-forum somewhere, but I'm usually too drunk to look for it ! Then again, now I don't need it )
