I am thinking of having a house built on the "Home in Park" Moo Baan out Hang Dong/Samoeng. Has anybody heard of anything negative about the build quality of the homes or the Moo Baan itself.

I have not heard anything bad about it.......as long as you avoid the Moo Baan I'm on you should be OK.

Yesterday I came home and the normal security gurad (read pensioner if there was such a thing in Thailand) was sitting in his chair by the wheelie gate...he nodded his recognition of me and just sat there. It was not until I used the horn that he realised the wheelie gate was blocking my progress...and it was no more that 1 metre from where he was sitting

His Christmas bonus has just declined in value by 10 baht

That sounds a little harsh, cutting his bonus in half for one little mistake like that . . . .

I am also building there, house should be finished sometime around March. Haven't really had too many dramas. Are you just moving to Thailand? Maybe we could meet for a cold ale sometime?
