Cheapest one night accom in Sukhumvit?

Featured Replies

On a very short trip to BKK and need somewhere to stay centrally for as cheap as possible in the Sukhimvit Soi 1-20 area.

Can anyone name some places in the sub 500THB bracket (if there are any) ? Dorms are OK.

I realise Khao San etc is cheaper, but I'd prefer to stay central as need to be there in the morning.

Cheers!

Try agoda and filter by price. Defo get somewhere for 500 not sure below that.

This place is a bit more then what you want to pay but still pretty cheap for the Sukhumvit area.      Check out the S.V. Guest on Soi 19.      Standard A/C room for B700.

Tel:  02 253-3556.       Coming from Sukhumvit continue down Soi 19 on the left side about 200 m    and SV Guest House will be about 30 m before the Honey Hotel and next to On Nineteen coffee shop.

If you want to go a bit more up-scale  try the Honey Hotel where you can get a A/C room for B900 which includes breakfast,  and they have a pool.

The days of a cheap room are long gone. You want a 500 baht room in one of the most expensive areas of Bangkok. How can you come to Thailand and can't afford a room.

Anyway,  Soi 25 has a backpacker dorm place just on the corner of Sukhumvit & soi 25. Also, Soi 22 down 400m on the left down a lane there was hotel22, cheap rooms there.

I've been in Thailand a while and can afford a room, just prefer to keep price rock bottom on this occasion...anyway, appreciate the advice, will check those places out.

Buy a burger at MacDonalds and hang out  there free with the ladyboys all night. No problem

Hope you had fun ;)

Seriously, stay away. If you have such little money, Thailand is most definitely NOT the place for you nowadays. I heard the countryside areas of Cambodia, Laos and the Philippines are still pretty cheap. Better yet, stay in your own country and work hard until you can afford to come to Thailand!

you might consider 1989 hostel on soi 22.  you can get a small room for 500thb/day but shared toilet facilities.  i think they also have 6 bed dorms for 250/thb.  not sure i'd recommend the dorm facility !!  another spot is honey house 1(different than honey hotel mentioned above).  you get your own room and toilet facilities for 800thb.  a friend of mine got a weekly rate of 5,000 a few months ago.

As said previously, I've been here a while.

I arrive v late and up early, so just looking for budget as there is other things I need to buy.

Imagine being the kind of person that gets on their high horse about where other people stay ^__^

Anyone pushing that TE as bad as you is on commission and by the sounds of this desperate post above, you need it. Always a new trend you could try. It's called beg packing. Back to the states preferably

No I just hope it is a big barrier for others to come here. That's the difference.

They building a wall in USA if you like barriers tootle off to there and if you dislike your fellow westerners occupying thailand I'd say that says more about you than them. I'm off now anyway so I shall not be responding to you again.

I was responding to Thainess who always says inflammatory things. Glad I could be of help though.
