Buying A Bar &/or Restaurant In Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

When you want to start a Biz .. don't go look at the Lucky example ..

is as good as buying lottery . or good luck lotto..

people love to hang successful example and drool on how others do it ..

well let be frank ..

how about those that FAIL >. and went back home ..

what about those that is still suffering ..

man .. so easy to pick on one case that is doing wlel against 100 case that FAIL .

Plus chiangmai is really notthat Big ..

while some success some got to fail .. and while some take a bigger share of the market some got to cut their staff .

there is only a small percentage of Luck in bussiness....

Unless you some rich guy with extra cash to throw ..

go drool on all those sucessful example .. and dram you are the next bill gate ..

... look at it this way .. WHILE YOU LOSE MONEY someone is earning yours..

so you can choose to be the one erning or the one spending time and money and get little or worthless stressing return .

Because he's got ants in his pants. :D Not the type to do nothing. He also believes that hopefully,he can live off the place (after 6 months or so) and maybe sell on for a small profit etc.

Hey, Hamburger Mike does it over and over again - for a HUGE profit! :D

HUGE to one person may well be SMALL to another UG. :o

The pros and cons apart. I would say he would have to concentrate on a business that he could easily sell on. As most businesses are going to take a year or more to get an established clientele, reputation etc. Competition looks fairly tough in the restaurant business as far as I can see.
