I'm new to Ban Chang and am looking for a playground to take 5 yr. old. Just left a small Isaan village where the kids played freely on our small dirt soi.

We now live in an apartment and need to get the kid out and play.

 

 

Om Payoon Road between Sukhumwit and the bypass there is a playground (but watch out for the read ants), a playground and a pool. On the west side nearer the bypass.

There is one at the end of Nam Rim beach as well.

I think you mean the one in the corner of the sports field on the right-hand side as you're coming down from the town?

 

Also, as the OP is now a lot nearer the sea than in Isaan, I have it on good authority that children quite like beaches. Phala is the best of those near Banchang

Drove the beach road both ways from main road and didn't see it. As you enter from main road is it left or right?

Thanks, will go looking for it as I cruise around.

Drove the beach road both ways from main road and didn't see it. As you enter from main road is it left or right?

Opposite end to Romsons next to the stone dolphins (i know they aren't dolphins before I'm corrected)

the first one is the large playground at ban Chang sports complex. 

The other ones are smaller neighborhood playgrounds I have found that are suitable for five year old kids.
