Arrest warrant issued for man over murder of two after 'dice game dispute'

The Phra Khanong Court on Saturday issued an arrest warrant for a man from Prachuap Khiri Khan province for allegedly shooting dead two men in front of a Bangkok condominium over a dice game dispute on Friday.

 

The court approved the arrest warrant against Thipakorn Pattana, 46, on charge of murder, possession of an illegal firearm and carrying a firearm in a public place.

 

Police alleged that Thipakorn killed Somnuek Thongsom, 36, and Winai Yuchai, 39, in front of Nirand Condominium’s S Building on Sukhumvit Soi 93 in Phra Khanong district at 3pm.

 

A roadside vendor, Boonthanom Chuasung, was injured in the crossfire.

 

 

Police said Thipakorn allegedly had a dispute with the two over a dice game.

I would also bet it is about hilo (high / low).

Very widespread.

 

 

It has it's roots from a similar game named "sic bo" which can also be found at some western casinos.

Its the wild west in Thailand these day's....guns everywhere and gun shots/deaths on a daily bases.

I can't remember so much gun related violence in the 30 years of and on as a resident in Thailand as in the last couple of years.
