Can I Extend My 60 Day Tourist Visa In Chiangmai?

Just got a tourist visa abroad, and was advised that I could extend it for 30 additional days in BKK. Can I also do that at Immigration in CM?

Bring 1900 baht and two passport pics as well as 2 copies of the photo-page in your passport as well as the visa/entry stamp pages.

Note that if you are going to Chiang Rai anyway, a quick hop over the border at Mae Sai at the right time (i.e. the last days of your 60 day stay) will get you another 30 days also. (The regular visa free transit stay).

Cheers,
