Yeah, both squads lacking some top players, but hey, club football is back. :post-4641-1156694083:

May have been mentioned somewhere on here before, but does anyone know if MCOT on True have lost the rights to the Champ this season?

They used to show 2 - 3 games a weekend last season but nothing for the opening weekend this season. Really disappointing if true.

Looks like it as there is sod all on their F/B page about this season....they can be slow off the mark so don't give up all hope as yet.

Just checked ch3, ch7 and PPTV schedules on their websites (in english  and thai) and on Truevisions onscreen  schedule and CURRENTLY the  game isn't  shown, so unless it's  a late schedule  change - which happens - it's buy a short time  package on HDPrime or Bein Connect and watch on BT1.

Ref HDPrime - Do they have SKY sports and BT sports Iin their packages? I did have a look but couldn't see.

Is Bein Connect a good option, assume no SKY/BT on there?

HDPrime channels...i don't  know  about BEin Connect.

I used HDPrime recently to follow the Sky team in the Tour on eurosport - it worked well. Used it a short while  back in Vietnam  - it buffered a little  but was useable.

HdPrime i think onlyhave 3 day and monthly tv packages (all channels..bbc..itv..etc). Bein Connect  i think has one day  packages.

For HDPrime:

Join it.

Buy a TrueMoney voucher at say 7/11 (see how much voucher you'll  need to buy below)

Log in. Go to the packages page on the website..buy a tv package (B95 for 3 days or B380 for 30 days) using the TrueMoney voucher. Watch.

BeIn connect is a great option as it is legal and stable.

BeIn has the rights to Pl and other leagues for Thailand.

As it is a TV provider in it's own right it wont have Sky or BT etc.

HDPrime and Bein Connect packages are so cheap you can pick and choose between them - the latter probably doesn't  have the rights to all uk football, say League Cup, but you can follow  pretty much all uk football (by which  i don't just mean Premier  teams) on the former.

Just subscribed to Bein Connect  to  see their payment  methods, which are ATM, Credit/Debit card or TrueMoney voucher. HDPrime obviously  only offers only  the latter so isn't  so convenient.

Does anyone know if beIN Sports even has the Charity Shield? They normally only have Premier League matches from England, no other competitions or matches.

No mate. See below. (Only the Arab beIN will show it). Bars will be showing it via BT Sport or Astro.

Surely Bein Connect shows exactly what BEin shows on Truevisions - i.e. Premier, UEFA, European leagues, etc.

Well, that's kind of what I was getting at - I was trying to clarify that point since a previous post seemed to imply that the Charity Shield would be available using either HDPrime or beIN Connect, as follows:

beIN Connect is a subscription based stream and will pick up the beIN Arabia channels. The beIN Thai channels won't have it. Unfortunately (as usual:biggrin:) The Bredbury Bore has derailed the mainstream thread relating to what you can actually get on telly without subscribing to OTT (over the top) content such as Connect.

Thanks. This is exactly what I'm looking for, I was actually aware of HDPrime I must add.

Anyway, I have been to 2 7/11's and asked for a TrueMoney voucher...no-one had a scooby what I was going about, I may have well been speaking Polish?

What exactly am I asking for? I need 25 points for a 3 day pass so do I ask for 25 points for TrueMoney or do I quote a Baht figure? And what would 7/11 give me, I assume it's a voucher number as that is what HDPrime are asking for?

^Apologies; the wife tells me though it is called TrueMoney, you have to ask for TRUE SLIP. I can confirm that as I've just come back with my True Slip and have BT1 preview on now.

Solly mate.

You ask for the monetary value. So you ask for True Slip song roi baht (b200) or ha roi baht (b500) of however much you want. You are buying money  credit value. Then when you login to hdprime go to PURCHASES page and put the 14 trueslip numbers in (see pic). That converts your money credit value in to points credit value. Then go to PACKAGES page and select the 3 day package. Then you've  cracked it..pick the tv channel you want. Website is a bit clunky but you'll  work it out

Nice One Bredders, Cheers. I aint going out again now though!

So the League Cup (Carabao Cup) is sponsored by a Thai company but has no Thai tv coverage?

Well, the BKK Post let me down. No Community Shield on channel 7. <deleted> !

So I go down 7/11 get the true slip pay for HDPrime so all set and just get this message Error loading player:
No playable sources found

An utter shambles!

Someone made the point earlier.. It will probably be on one of the Thai channels that picks up the FA Cup games, as it's the FA that's selling the rights.
