A combined force of Department of Special Investigation officials, military personnel and forest officials raided two big houses on the same compound in a forest reserve in Phang-nga province on Friday.

Led by DSI chief Pol Col Paisit Wongmuang, the force descended on the two houses located in Kuan Toh La forest reserve in Takua Thung district after it was suspected that the houses have encroached on forest reserve.

It was not known who owns the two houses. But Pol Col Paisit said that it was the policy of the government to take legal action against all forest encroachers.

It is not known who owns the houses, .....ha ha ha....

Pull the other 1.

Don't know who owns the houses. Go down the hill stop at the first little market and the local folks will tell you who owns the houses.

Amazing Thailand.

Was reported that a noodle selling street vendor owns both !

The first story mentioned the invisible Abbott.  Now they have changed the story to land encroachment.  A little safe saving re-telling of the story.

Just on Thai TV news, family say:

- Nasty old style ruthless politician.

- Breaking the well known Thai laws prohibiting building of family hoses on top of mountains.

Why do they always find these houses in protected areas,AFTER they have been built,

even  several years later, like they always find loggers bringing the wood out of the forest.

never in the process of them cutting them down.Don't know who the owners are,you can

bet everyone else in the area knows.
