Elderly Ratchaburi cyclist killed in apparent hit and run

RATCHABURI: -- A 70-year-old cyclist was found dead on a roadside in Ratchaburi on Tuesday morning following a suspected hit and run. There were no witnesses.

 

The body of Sa-ard Siwilai was discovered with neck and limbs broken at the side of Phetckasem Road in Moo 4 in Mueang district’s Tambon Anthong. His damaged bicycle was nearby.

 

The man was known to go cycling every morning.

 

No one saw what happened, but police believe he might have been hit by a truck.

So sad, for a cyclist to venture onto these roads one can almost come to the conclusion that he was committing suicide !
