I have an Isuzu Dmax Hilander 2wd 2 door extended cab. Tyres are 245/70r16. I followed the pressures written on near driver's seat. 29 psi in the front 41 psi in the back (cold). However, the front tyres look sloppy, the back of the car elevated. During driving the back feels too hard. Should I changed 32 psi all around? I know its not recommended to change the manufacture's manual, but it feels like I should.

32 all round most vehicles unless carrying a bit of a load in a pick up
Tyres on my car look down at 32 so I just put 36 in now, probably just the rubber past its best date. Still no problems though

There are usually two figures on the sticker, loaded and unloaded, what does the unloaded say...?

Using my sister-laws D-max l put 30 all round using my tyre gauge.

It usually had anything from 56 to 68 but all different. :goof:

My Vigo with 265/70 x 16's has 29psi all round loaded or unloaded, so l keep them at 30psi, tyre wear is good, across the tread..

Yes that's only (1 psi ) and not a problem because the tyres usually gain 2 or 3 more psi when travelling in a hot climate.

The top range big wheel Vigo info is not what OP needs 2wd 2 door D-max different animal.

I reckon OP's ride on the 41 psi rear is for loads.

Same on the new dual cab hilux, recommended 29 psi and i put in 30 psi as you do

Single cab models have higher recommended tyre pressures, up to 44 psi

There are no figures for loaded/unloaded. Anyway, I will give a try for 32 all around.

I had a quick search and 41psi was mentioned for the rear....Found that a bit strange as on your ride most of the weight is at the front with 29psi.....If me I would experiment a bit until l was happy....:stoner:

The higher pressure quoted for the rear tyres are for people who use their pickup commercially to  carry loads, usually much more than the recommended maximum load in Thailand

If you mainly or always use it as a passenger vehicle put the same lower recommended pressure in all of the tyres and the ride will improve no end

It all depends how often you haul a heavy load. I like 32 in the front and 30 in the back. More than 30 in the back causes the back to dance on washboard roads. I have an air compressor at home so adding air is a minor inconvenience.
