Question on the survey.

Suggestions?

The question is 'improve the application process'.

Seems a perfectly valid question to be asking applicants!

Start with fees paid in £'s rather than dollars!

They are not going to get people to complete a survey on the quality of the decision making! that would be far too brave.

I suspect this is a way to beat VFS over the head or give them a pat on the head for doing a job adequately!

The majority of applicants are granted visas.

Maybe they don't send the survey to applicants who have been refused...

You are giving UKVI rather more credit than they are due. They are not well enough organised for that! I bet the survey is processed by an external company and UKVI get 'performance figures'.

This is still about the application process so should cover the website, forms and VFS performance.

I responded to an automated survey following a non visa related interaction with the British Embassy and I recently received a telephone call from an external survey company based in London, asking about my experience. They were on the phone for about 45 mins and they stressed that whilst my responses would be shared, along with others, my name wouldn't, they paid me thirty quid for my trouble.

Yes, I am aware that these customer satisfaction surveys are used to see if Government Departments are meeting their KPI's.
