"Greatest thinking Thai" writer shows off her dream home for herself and disciples

Pictures of the palatial home of controversial Thai self-help guru Thitinart Na Pattalung have been shown online causing much comment in Thai society.

Thitinart - better known as "Kru Oi" or DDnard - is the author of a series of best selling books in the Life Compass series.

The books sold worldwide have made Kru Oi, 38, a multi-millionaire.

Her meditation techniques blended with traditional Buddhist thought have proved popular with the writer being named as one of the top "100 Greatest Thinkers of Thailand" in 2013.

But as well as followers it has brought her controversy as well as riches.

Several top Thai celebrities have moved to distance themselves from any involvement with her saying she does not represent their belief system.

But the riches show themselves in her palatial home that she uses as a place to live and teach her many students.

Thais were commenting in their thousands when the pictures emerged on her own Facebook page and that of her students yesterday.

It´s just another sect leader. Nothing else. Exactly like the runaway monk. Just making money on a phrophecy they managed to sell a lot of people. The only thing they are is good writers and speakers that have a unique and powerful sales method.

If that's her dream house, I don't think much of her taste, but Thais like glittery things, bit like cats and pigeons. 

 

If if she gives people hope and they give her money, can't see much difference between that and organised religion, so good luck to her. I shan't be contributing to either.

Yes, he would indeed. Gautama Siddhartha   (Buddha) was a Hindu prince and the inside of Thitinart Na Pattalung's home with lots of gold would have met with his approval, were he alive today, even in a " third world country."
