I recently bought a 'True Super 3 Xtra' mobile for 90bht including phone and sim card (Photo attached).

 

I asked the sales assistant a few questions but didn't get very far as my communication skills in Thai rank about 3 on a scale of 1 to 10.

 

From what I can ascertain, you are given a 100bht bonus and so can start calling straight away and 4 apps including Facebook, Line are free for a few months.

 

My questions are :-

 

• When you top-up, is what you've used of the 100bht (bonus) deducted from your balance ??
• How do you know when you are starting to pay for the internet/data ??
• What are the calling/SMS rates ??
• Is there a way to get SMS's from True in English (like DTAC you add a 9 to the end of the code you send) ??

 

Any info would be appreciated and most welcome.

 

I wouldn't bother using that type of phone for anything other than dumb phone calls and texts. For call rates ask for a rate sheet at TRUE.
