Electronic Point of Sale System used in Bars

Featured Replies

Greetings

What are the most commonly used Point of Sale systems used within the small bar scene in Thailand?

POS systems that specifically (or mostly) cater for:

  • Lady drink surcharges (with receipt tickets printing for the ladies to keep and tally their drinks at nights end)
  • Accumulative outstanding bill totals
  • Bar fines
  • Decent reporting for things like void transactions, price over-rides, discounts applied, sales history by product / lady drinks received / barfines received / margins / customer spend
  • Expense records
  • Inventory integration (perhaps linked to Accounts Payable?)
  • Payroll or attendance records (check in / check out clock for staff / calendar for staff & Buddha holidays / monthly payroll calculation)
  • Other things that I may not have listed above

Probably sounds more like a small accounting package designed for the bars / small business in Thailand on reflection...

Regardless - any ideas?

Would appreciate any advice or direction on the matter

Cheers in advance.

I think many use a system called “Blue Bartender”

I'm weeks and months late, but yep, that's what most seemingly use. Thanks for the reply!
