Prayut gives thumbs up to ‘uncomfortable’ PM chair

General Prayut Chan-o-cha on Friday experienced what it means to be the prime minister when he tried sitting in the “Uncomfortable chair” during a visit to the new Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC) at the Grand Postal Building in the capital’s Bang Rak district.

Designed specifically for Prayut, designers said the chair represented the premier’s working style through the use of wood and metal to show his strength but also how he had received support from the people.

“The chair is really uncomfortable, like democracy that has obstacles,” the premier said.

“The designer is right [to make uncomfortable] otherwise many people will want to become the PM. If you sit on a comfortable chair, you will be lazy,” he said.

Like do nothing and leave the Thai people to their own lives ?   That would be nice, but sadly the chair of absolute power is far too comfortable.  We can see that by the last three years

Any politician in any country is in it for the power, or for the money or for power and money.

No exceptions!

Exceptions :

Rand Paul ?

Ron Paul ?

Some politicians must stand for something other than their own fulfillment ?  Hope you are wrong, but few names come to mind.
