MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Nineteen people were killed in Mexico's northwestern state of Sinaloa late on Friday in a run of related shootouts between police and gunmen, state authorities said.

Syrian government dismisses report on sarin attack

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A doctor who killed another physician at a New York City medical centre and wounded six other people before taking his own life had sent an email to a newspaper blaming hospital officials for wrecking his career, the New York Daily News reported on Saturday.
