Video game law

Featured Replies

Long shoot, didn't find any information (official) about video games laws in Thailand, I know violent games are banned and apparently this Internet cafe gaming shop are suppose to be open between 6AM And 10PM, planning to open one for the stepson so I would like to ask if anybody can help out, there are other restrictions?

No direct answer, but you can also Google Search and find some useful tidbits here and there:  site:thaivisa.com Internet Cafe

The MICT ICT Ministry (Minister of Digital Economy and Society / MDES) seems to assert authority over Internet and Gaming shops. After that, it seams the local province and area Governor have a say.
