Superstar "Becks" just loves Thailand - pictured giving an old lady a lovely hug

BANGKOK: -- Superstar footballer David Beckham did his Thai popularity no harm at all at the weekend as he posted a charming picture of him hugging one of his many fans in the kingdom.

 

This one - an old lady in the Pahurat area of Bangkok - ended up on his Instagram page with the comment: "Meeting my friends in Bangkok".

 

It came complete with a smiley emoticon and the Thai flag indicating a love for the country.

 

The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and England icon was in Bangkok to be interviewed by presenter Woody.

 

His picture with the lady - that Thai Rath said showed the superstar's down to earth friendliness - was "liked" by more than 1.4 million fans.

 

Becks who is coming to the end of a glittering career, is one of the richest and most recognizable sporting stars on the planet.

 

Many other fans managed to snap pictures with him in Bangkok at the weekend.

Yep super rich people are all good blokes. Wiping their asses with $100 bills and cruising past homeless people and others just barely scraping by in a luxury Bentley on there way to the next publicity gig.
