Hiding in Pattaya - cops nab major Southern drugs dealer in midday arrest in Jomtien

PATTAYA: -- Pattaya cops have arrested a major drugs dealer wanted on six warrants who was hiding out in Pattaya, reported Tnews.

 

"Lek Thung Song" real name Suriya Monchatin, 51, was arrested by police and commandos while out driving at the resort around midday Saturday.

 

He was wanted on four warrants for drugs offences in Nakorn Sri Thammarat, one in Krabi and one involving possession and distribution of Ya Ba in Thung Song where he lived previously.

 

Tnews said that he was a big dealer in drugs.

Looks like his friend has a couple of decent sized 'puppies' that may be in need of a good home.

False News - Thailand closes at midday whilst everyone eats noodles. No way are Pattaya police going to do their job during their lunch break which lasts from 8am till 7pm when it gets too dark and the bad guys come out.

yeah.  That was fun to watch.

Good job , it just shows that not everyone working for the police force are corrupt. He could have easily bribed himself out of this .

May have had something to do with the 4 piles of notes all being 20's and 50's, not much of an incentive to chat.

Noticed a Policeman alone in the room where the money was found. Amazing that when the drug money was found there was no large banknotes to be seen. I believe the large 1000 Baht notes disappeared as if by magic  A drug dealer would not have just bundles of 20 baht notes & 100 Baht notes.
