Gotta wonder how far they could drive it if they had a long enough extension?

My guess is far enough that it's a futile effort, and we'll soon be reading once again about houses going caddywampus.

Sure is a great teamwork. If we would use this method here you would get fired.

However what is the purpose of the pole? Pole should end there were is a solid base to rest on in the ground.

More poles implemented on first one? 300  hopping kilos isnt that much to drive in the pole

When they built our pool, the body corporate would not allow the excavator on side (something about road damage), so they dug it out by hand (1.5m deep), then they had to install 36 x 8m pilings to support the base of the pool. The holes were dug by hand, and the concrete piles driven in as per the video.

I never did take a video, but it was impressive to say the least.

This was in suburbia Bangkok with nothing but clay for miles around, and fathoms below!

Really soft dirt/mud...Not sure how helpful those those concrete pillars will be if they can be so easily pushed into the ground...

Depends on how you tie them together.

..now i know how they put the corner pegs in for the great pyramid.

These Thai men seem to always have a fun time while working no matter the job. I think it's very entertaining, they sing, dance and joke around and nobody gets pissed off.
