C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book\Admin.wab

This is the file and location. Replace Admin to the account name you are using on your computer. Or you can double click on the .wab file and use export.

You can open Outlook Express and then click the "Addressses" icon at the top of the page,

then click File then Export and export the file in the WAB format giving it a name.

Send this file to new laptop and do an Import in similar fashion.

Thank you very much Tywis and Naka

I did an export but in XLS format is it possible to convert an XLS adress file format into a WAB format ? Or import an XLS format file in the new Outlook mailer ?

The original laptop is not accessible anymore.....

(Not for myself hehe as I am still using Eudora and would have had a back-up....)

No need to convert, simply import in XLS format.

FILE / IMPORT / OTHER ADDRESS BOOK / TEXTFILE (comma seperated file) :o

existing data will not be removed, new XLS data will be added.
