German Papke reveals details of Phuket murder

PHUKET:-- After confessing to the murder of his girlfriend Pischa “Lek” Nampadung, German expat Nico Papke has revealed more details on what happened on that fateful day, and the days that followed, say police.

 

Papke, a fitness instructor living in Rawai, confessed to the murder on Tuesday (July 18).

 

The confession came at Chalong Police Station, after Papke had been escorted under armed guard from Vachira Phuket Hospital, where the German had been recovering after he tried to slash his own throat with a box cutter when police moved in to arrest him on July 9.

Minimum 10 years in a thai prison before being deported into a 5 star prison for remainder of his sentence

He is just a dumb German, didn't even know the cars GPS would pinpoint the dumping area

If she'd been stabbed or shot or hit over the head with a hammer, one MIGHT give some credence to the "spur of the moment, overwhelming emotion" angle. Might. 

But strangulation, no....every chance to stop but still went on with it. He's not going to cut a sympathetic figure in court, suicide attempt nothwithstanding.

Steroids, jealousy and a fragile ego...looks like I was smack on the button. Poor girl did not deserve what she got regardless of what he said she did. If you are dating a girl here take it as a given she has at very least one other waiting in the wings. Thus no surprises and in any case, you are likely to being doing the same thing at some point down the line!

You are embarrassing yourself.  The motivation of jealousy was written in black and white in the link you claim to have read.  Don't dig this ditch any deeper.

Word on the street is he sold her gold after he killed her or at least it was missing.  Maybe trying to get the cash together to check out.
