Where are the best Banks are in Pattaya, to withdraw money from with ATM outside the branch?

Wow, only a couple of thousand options!

To reduce the chance of fraud be it through skimming or other means, one of my overseas banks recommended that if one is frequently drawing money in a singular overseas location, one should preferably use the same ATM located at a main branch of a bank. In the event of any problems such as the card being grabbed by the machine, chances are senior staff may have a key for the ATM machine. For the most part, ATM's are serviced by third-party companies who have the keys. AFAIK, any cards seized by the remoter ATM's are recovered and destroyed by these third-party companies and I don't think the refill guys are permitted to hand back any cards found in the machine.

My two choices in Pattaya are Kasikorn on Tai and Bangkok Bank on Second. Personally, I avoid ATM's in malls, even the ones located at bank branches inside malls due to the higher usage aspect.

Do the bank in Pattaya, have ATM inside the banks.

Yes.

Sound advice from Nan Laew.

Any ATM in a busy area will do.

ATM's outside convenience stores are regularly safe due to cctv system (if they work).

Just beware for stand-alone ATM's in remote areas.

My buddy got skimmed by an ATM outside a 7/11.  I wouldn't trust any ATM that's not inside either a shopping mall, or preferably, inside the bank itself.  There are plenty of these around.

As we know, many CCTV cameras don't even work! LOL
