British Family Seeks Aid to Bring Injured Traveller Home from Thailand
Oops re-read again. So he already had brain surgery in Thailand and now needs medical reparation for 6 million baht and wants others to pay for him. How about he just stay in Thailand until he recovers. If he's brain dead then have the family come for the funeral in Thailand. This guy is probably the kid of some Nigerians that made it to England in the late 80s or 90s and now he's traveled to Thailand and smashed his brain. This story has nothing to do with the English, Europeans or even Thai's for that matter. It's just some African with a British passport. If I have any money to donate it will go towards my own family or locals in my Thai community, not some random Nigerian that wants to vacation in Thailand and do dangerous things. Stop feeding the bears, give these people ZERO baht every time. -

Skype to be shutdown in May
After a brief look around on the internet, this company seems to be ok for Aussie expats looking to call back to Australia with unlimited minutes. Calls to other countries are very cheap, so it may be ok for expats from other countries with international rates starting at $0.0050 per minute. https://crazytel.com.au/residential/voiphomephone/ Unlimited calls to Aussie local and national numbers, as well as mobile numbers, for $8 per month. Calls to 13 / 1300 numbers $0.25. I had a quick look at Microsoft Teams and I don't think I will be migrating. I will find another VOIP provider. There must be some companies rubbing their hands together and gearing up for the deadline in May. The owners of some previously little known VOIP companies may end up multimillionaires. Microsoft Teams will not see a cent out of me, and I have been buying Skype credit / Subscriptions for decades.
