Looks like the end of the road for Stick he says the main reason is that the person that bought most of his site can no longer pay him his monthly drip feed pay off.

Any one else got the money to pay him to keep going ???? :passifier::passifier::passifier:

Stickman should have been obligatory reading for the ones getting involved with isaan ladies. It could have saved some of them millions of baht

I have read his work from day one. He always had a solid view when it came to alot of stuff.  I don't think we have heard the last from him. Hope not at least.

"Not Richard Barrow" (on Twitter) was even more entertaining. He disappeared too, sadly.

Richard Barrow must be somewhat newly famous in Thailand. I have never heard of him.

Richard Barrow has been around for quite a while but writing in an entirely different genre to Stickman.

Based in Paknam (a teacher I believe) he's a very interesting Food and Travel writer - example :

Yes he was the <deleted> that closed down The Big Mango, which was at the time the funniest blog running about Thailand. The American guy that used to write in the newspaper was also a good read in the day before internet, Stickman was also fun in its day, but like all things, times change and so do tastes.

It was but it didn't.

I think Bernard Trink is still alive if not kicking and could surely be persuaded to restart his meanderings in the neon for a small stipend. Sounds like his deleted weekly diatribe seriously pissed off some dark characters who had a word with the new owner who in turn I suspect runs the escort agencies that feature on Stick's site (no proof of that so may be wrong)...  Stick to buy back his site for a cent on the dollar?

If you are not joking it seems that you should do something else on internet but watching cute cats videos...

Remember reading Trink shuffled off his mortal coil a few years after his column ended. Best pizza tips of any expat.

He writes book reviews every week in the other English language newspaper
