I was cleaning behind my fridge and noticed my pan was near full.  In dry conditions, it will almost entire!y evaporate, but it has been quite humid lately.  Kind of stinks, kind of dirty, and can make a nasty stain on your floor if left unchecked.  I cleaned it, and put a cap of bleach in it to discourage growth.  Give it a look, you will be glad.

Only had one fridge in my last rental that had a clip-on plastic tub that needed draining once a month. Bad design as the tub is close to the compressor which I assume is supposed to speed up natural evaporation. TBH, in all the other fridges I have owned or otherwise used, the drip tray seemed to be lower, shallower, below the compressor with a bigger surface area and those never needed draining.

Yes, the baking pan type, you access from the front....drained quite a few of those, too.
