Honda Jazz Or Pickup?

Hi All,

I am relocating to LOS in about 4 weeks.

Will be with my wife, and baby due in about 6 mths.

Will be there for 12 months minimum.

I have been looking at buying a Honda Jazz, for the ease of getting around in Bangkok, but it is still large enough (just) for those trips to Issan.

I was also considering whether a pickup(Toyota or Mitsubishi) would be a better option.

As i will be in Thailand for 12 months (ish) i will be looking to sell the vehicle at the end of the trip.

I know that you can buy a Honda Jazz or a pickup in the forecourt of every Carrefour in Bangkok.

Does anyone know what the average deposit/monthly payment is?

I have picked up more pricing brochures for these than i can count, but cannot lay my hands on them...

What are resale prices on these like?

Are they hard to sell?

Which one would be easier to sell?

I am looking at buying as i feel that it will be more cost effective over a 12 month period than renting.

I would love to hear any other options that people may be aware of.
